Hockey practice

By Paul | May 2, 2008

Today I finally made it to the hockey practice of my friend Robert. He was telling me about his passion for hockey for weeks and I was always too busy to find time to see it. Robert and few other guys meet twice a week after work to play hockey. They rent two different ice arenas in Chicago suburbs where they play and practice.

Well, this game didn’t look like a friendly exercise after work. These guys really put their hart into the game. They played on the smaller rink which makes the game more dynamic and faster than on the full size rink. I couldn’t keep up with my camera ;-). This time I was more interested in the environmental shoots rather than the game itself. I hope the players will not hate me for that.

I have to admit that after witnessing what these guys were doing, I became more interested in hockey. I even visited a newly open arena in my neighborhood. You will definitely see some more pictures of the hockey games on this blog. Enjoy a few shots from that day.
